Documents required when applying for a job

When applying for a job, the applicant must provide the following documents:
passport or other document that replaces it, and for persons under the age of sixteen – a birth certificate and a certificate of residence;

  • employment record, except for first-time employees. Persons applying for a part-time job must have a certificate from their main place of work instead of a work record;
  • conscripts or conscripts with the appropriate military ID or certificate of military registration;
  • when applying for a job that can only be performed by persons with special education or special training in accordance with the law, submit a diploma of higher or secondary special or professional education or a certificate or other relevant document authorizing the performance of this work. (As amended in part one by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 24, 2009 No. ZRU-239-Collection of legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2009, no. 52, article 554)

It is prohibited to require a person applying for a job, when applying for a job, documents that are not specified in the legislation.

The procedure of registration of employment:

  • Recruitment is made by order of the employer. The basis for issuing an order is an employment contract with an employee.
  • Hiring an enterprise Manager is the right of the owner of the enterprise’s property, which he uses directly, as well as through the bodies that he represents, or through the enterprise’s Council, management or other bodies authorized to manage the enterprise.
  • The head of the enterprise enters into employment contracts with employees within the powers granted to him by the owner of the enterprise.
  • The employment order is issued in full accordance with the content of the employment contract.
  • the order is communicated to the employee, and an explanation is issued from the applicant.
  • An employment contract is considered concluded from the start date of work, regardless of whether the work is properly executed, if the employee was actually allowed to work by an authorized official or with his permission.
