August 22 of this year, the Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.F. Islamov and a group of experts, as well as the leadership of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Acting Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC. Z.G. Narzullaev and industry experts visited JSC “Shargunkumir” in Surkhandarya region.

During the visit, discussions were held on the modernization of JSC “Shargunkumir”, which is carried out on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-2727 dated January 13, 2017. and elimination of problems associated with the implementation of the investment project.

During the visit, the chairman of the board instructed the relevant officials to improve working conditions, modernize JSC “Shargunkumir”, eliminate existing problems in a short time, provide comprehensive support and development of society, and eliminate the shortcomings of the newly built railway. The tasks of construction and repair of existing sections of railways are determined.
