The problem of corruption in recent years has been widely discussed by international organizations as a crime of global proportions.
In the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to prevent and combat corruption, large-scale reforms are being consistently implemented aimed at eliminating corruption factors in all areas of state and public construction, including at industrial facilities.
In this direction, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Fight against Corruption” of 2017, Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 27, 2019 No. Decree No. PF-6013 “On additional measures to improve anti-corruption activities” were adopted. -corruption system” and Resolution No. PQ-5177 of July 6, 2021 “On additional measures for the effective organization of anti-corruption” and a number of others. The creation of this legal framework was facilitated by the adoption of regulatory documents.
In order to implement the necessary measures in the fight against corruption, an internal anti-corruption control department has been created at Shargunkumir JSC. Its main objectives are to determine the causes and conditions of corruption in the system, develop an effective system for eliminating them, as well as carrying out explanatory and preventive work among all employees of the company to eliminate them in cases where there is a risk of corruption.
At the same time, the Company has adopted more than 10 regulatory documents aimed at combating corruption, including the Anti-Corruption Policy, Code of Ethics, and Conflict of Interest Management Policy.
In order to prevent conflicts of interest, eliminate corruption factors in personnel selection, strengthen systemic preventive measures to combat corruption and constantly increase knowledge in this area, our company is gradually introducing the requirements of international standards ISO 3700 1:2016.
It should be noted that JSC “Shargunkumir” does not accept corruption in any shape or form in its practice, this contributes to the formation of intolerance towards corruption in society. Always fulfills all its obligations in good faith, strictly follows the law, pays special attention to the principles of equal competition and building a corporate culture of honesty and openness.
At the same time, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev said: “Intolerance towards any form of corruption should become our daily way of life. It is necessary to mobilize all government bodies, political parties, public organizations, the media, in general, every citizen to fight this evil,” should become our life slogan.
JSC “Shargunkumir”, in turn, takes into account anti-corruption requirements and ethical standards, always fulfills its obligations in good faith and guarantees strict compliance with legal documents.
