The seminar was organized in order to raise the updated policy of Uzbekistan to the highest level of justice and the rule of law in society, introduce modern and effective public administration, and form a culture of strict intolerance to any form of corruption in society. public service.
Khalilova Shakhnoza Obidzhonovna, responsible for internal control of the fight against corruption at JSC Shargunkumir, made a report on the topic of “State policy and its priorities, conflicts of interest and rules of etiquette in the fight against corruption.” As noted, in 2016-2021, the adoption of 6 laws, 6 decrees of the President and 7 resolutions of the President aimed at preventing corruption in the Republic of Uzbekistan created the necessary conditions for combating and eradicating corruption in our country.
The experience of developed countries that have achieved positive success in the fight against corruption shows that it is not effective to fight the consequences of corruption, but to eliminate the causes that cause it.
Therefore, the prevention of corruption is one of the priorities of state policy in the fight against corruption in our country. This, in turn, requires an in-depth analysis of the causes that contribute to corruption, assessment of corruption risks, the creation of an internal anti-corruption control system (compliance), increasing the openness and accountability of JSC Shargunkomir, and preventing conflicts. of interest.
