Shargun coal is of high quality and rich in reserves. Today, a project worth $ 105.5 million for 2017-2020 is being implemented here. As a result of the implementation of this joint project with China, starting from 2021, 900 thousand tons of coal will be produced annually. 600 jobs will be created. Uzbekenergo will increase coal supplies to Angren and Newangren TPPs, cement plants, population and other consumers.
